A microphone was placed in my hand when I was 5-years-old after my parents

gifted me a tape recorder for Christmas.  That's when my love for storytelling began.

I was introduced to still photography in high school, and with a 35mm Canon FTB camera in hand, along with my tape recorder, I discovered I could connect my storytelling to pictures.

I currently freelance, and most recently worked as a Segment Producer for Mighty Media Studios in Seattle, Washington.  Mighty's main client is Microsoft for which I segment produced high-level Executive Live/Online shows, including Microsoft internal videos for top executives and  in-field and on-location.

I began my career by earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Edward R. Murrow's School of Broadcasting at Washington State University, specializing in TV/Radio News & Journalism with a minor in Speech.

Upon graduation, I worked for NBC affiliate KNDU-TV as its Nightly News Anchor, Reporter, Talk Show Host, Videographer, Writer and Video Editor.  Then, was hired by FOX affiliate, KCWT-TV, as its News Director, Producer, Nightly News Anchor, Talk Show Host and Reporter.  These local opportunities led me to interesting places, allowed me to meet fascinating people, and helped make my dreams of working in the Broadcasting industry come true.

An introduction to Hollywood Film Director, Steven Spielberg, inspired me to take my extensive broadcast experience to Los Angeles.  There, I was hired by the world-renowned Walt Disney Company as its Senior Supervising Producer responsible for producing all Corporate Marketing/News videos increasing Disney's brand visibility.  Key priorities also included managing all project logistics, interfacing with all clients, managing Resort partnership relations, handling all pre-production details, script writing, as well as management of all on-site and post video production.  In addition, I was the Resort's designated interviewer of all key executives, prominent personalities and celebrities while appearing on-camera as the company's spokesperson.  Managing all budgets, scheduling, hiring and managing Field Producers, Camera Crews and editors, I produced and created impactful stories, all while meeting extremely tight deadlines in fast paced environments.

I am known for obtaining over $2.5 billion in media value during my Disney career accomplished through creating impactful marketing videos for Disney attractions, new/remodeled lands, and Red Carpet World Film Premieres.  Simultaneously, I directed crews to meticulously video document all construction phases of Disney's newest park, Disney's California Adventure.

My following Freelance years included producing and directing most notably for

Disney, as well as, Audi, Chevron, General Motors, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Nestle, The Food Network, TV Guide Channel, The History Channel, A&E Network, and The National Geographic Channel.

Over eight years, I also served as Director/Show Producer for the prominent LIVE Edward R. Murrow Awards Show nationally presented by the Radio-Television News Directors Association.

Proudly, I look at my career with the same enthusiasm of the 5-year-old girl who received her first microphone and tape recorder.  I'm excited about the stories ahead and can't wait to share them with others by bringing them to life through the eye of a camera.
